Position Description

I started my career in Healthcare 13 years ago, in Accounting at the Two Rivers Community Hospital in Two Rivers, WI. I have a Bachelor’s of Business Administration Degree in Accounting from Silver Lake College in Manitowoc, WI. At that time, I was responsible for Accounts Payable and acted as the back-up for Payroll processing. Due to the size of the organization, I had the opportunity to move into different areas as changes in the organization occurred. My last position was the Business Office Supervisor, responsible for Admitting, Switchboard, Insurance Billing, Data Processing and Insurance Follow Up. I also remained responsible for Accounts Payable and Payroll and did some work in Finance and IS Support and Report Writing. My time spent with this organization was a great learning experience and a foundation for my future career path.

From Two Rivers, I moved to St. Michael’s Hospital in Milwaukee. There I was the Manager of Patient Access. I was responsible for Patient Access which included Registration, Central Scheduling and Pre-Certification. This position also became a great learning experience as I moved from a very small organization to a much larger one in a much larger market.

After that, I was the Business Office Operations Supervisor for the Prevea Clinic in Green Bay. I was responsible for Refunds, Cash Posting, Charge Entry, Insurance Billing and Follow Up. In this position, I was able to pull together the skills that I had acquired in my previous positions.

This brings me to my current position. I am the Central Business Office Director with the Lakeshore Medical Clinic in Milwaukee. I have been with them just over 1 year. I am responsible for all operations of the CBO.
